Off-axis parabolic reflector
An off-axis parabolic mirror is a special type of parabolic mirror in which the optical axis does not coincide with the geometric center of the mirror. This design for effective concentration of light into a single focal point while avoiding the aberrations and optical distortions commonly seen in many conventional parabolic mirrors. It is often used in telescopes and other optical to improve image quality.
