Infrared window, also known as infrared temperature measuring window, is an optical window that can transmit ultraviolet, visible light, and infrared rays. installing the infrared window on the shell of various high-voltage switch cabinets, urban ring network cabinets, and motor junction boxes, etc., it is convenient to use infrared temperature measuring or thermal imagers to perform various non-destructive tests on the internal equipment of the switch cabinet, which meets the detection requirements of most power equipment for continuous infrared non-dest testing under live conditions. Infrared temperature measuring windows are usually composed of four parts: metal flange, O-ring seal, protective cover, and optical glass. Among them optical glass is the core part of the infrared temperature measuring window, which determines the transparency and durability of the window. Common optical glass materials include sapphire, etc., which high strength, high hardness, high temperature resistance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and excellent light transmission and electrical insulation properties. Its materials usually include calcium fluoride (CAF2 and barium fluoride (BAF2), and barium fluoride is more commonly used. In recent years, with the development of materials, multi-spectrum zinc sulf (ZNS MS) has also been widely used.
